About Feven
My journey in social work began long before I ever earned a title. For over two decades, I’ve worked across the spectrum of social services, serving children, families, and adults navigating some of life’s most difficult circumstances. From community outreach and crisis intervention to inpatient psychiatric care and behavioral health coordination, I’ve witnessed firsthand how systems can both support and fail the people they are meant to serve.
Over the last nine years, my focus has centered on behavioral health, helping individuals find stability, healing, and clarity during moments of crisis. I’ve worked in hospital systems, inpatient psychiatric facilities, suicide prevention programs, and within major insurance networks, supporting people as they learn to navigate their mental health needs with dignity and hope.
As a first-generation immigrant, I come from a culture where mental health is often met with silence or prayer rather than open conversation. My own healing journey, marked by navigating grief, loss, and raising a child on the autism spectrum, has deepened my empathy and strengthened my belief that therapy and faith can coexist. Healing, I’ve learned, is not linear; it’s a process of returning to yourself with compassion.
Today, as a clinician licensed in nine states: Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Washington, D.C., Colorado, Massachusetts, Washington, California and Texas, I approach my work through a lens of cultural humility and lived understanding. I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are, helping them reconnect with their sense of agency, wholeness, and purpose.
My work is guided by empathy, integrity, and authenticity. Values shaped by years on the frontlines of service, by my personal experiences of resilience, and by a commitment to creating spaces where healing feels both possible and safe. Healing is not linear.
